Join the crowd that is making it possible for the first edition of The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria to make its way onto bookshelves in 2014 and you will be in with a chance of winning one of two packages from Canoes Plus Kayak Store valued at over $1,500!
Package 1: Jackson Orion 10 or Orion 12 kayak with paddle & Liquid Life PFD
Package 2: L’attitude Epoxy SUP with leg rope, carbon paddle & Liquid Life PFD
The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria will be the first comprehensive paddling guidebook for Victoria in more than ten years. It will include maps, directions, colour photographs and running commentary for 80 of the most amazing places you are ever likely to see by kayak, canoe, or stand up paddleboard. We have explored each location ourselves so readers can be sure they are getting first hand information from experienced paddlers.
We would love it if you could help us bring The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria to life. A total of $20,000 needs to be raised for printing, marketing, and distribution and we are hoping to do that by crowd funding the project $50 at a time. In return for your contribution of $50 you will receive:
- entry into the draw to win your choice of a kayak or SUP package valued at $1,500.00;
- a signed copy of the first edition of The Paddlers Guide to Victoria worth $40;
- 18 months of Global Paddler membership worth $50; and
- your name printed in every copy of the first edition of The Paddler’s Guide Victoria – priceless.
If you would prefer your crowd funding bundle to include a copy of The Paddler’s Guide to New South Wales or The Paddler’s Guide to Queensland instead of The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria, all you need to do is let us know when you jump on board. You will still receive everything else listed above.
Join the crowd today by purchasing The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria – Crowd Funding Bundle from the Global Paddler online store.
Please note that this competition to win a kayak or a SUP is only open to Australian residents and entries close on the 31st of August 2014. Prizes may not be able to be delivered to some remote addresses, in which case they will need to be collected from the nearest regional centre.
