Victoria: Paddling the best of the north and the west

by Scott Rawstorne

The much anticipated first edition of The Paddler’s Guide to Victoria will be published in September 2014. It will contain logistical details, trip descriptions, historical information, local points of interest, quirky facts, maps, and colour photographs for 70 great kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddling destinations. Forty places to paddle in and around Melbourne and Gippsland have already been researched and photographed and the time has now come to explore Victoria’s north and west in search of the rest. I have compiled the following itinerary for March 2014 to help me find the best this area has to offer.
