There is a buzz in the air about The Paddler’s Guide to South Australia which is scheduled for publication later this year. We have had a lot of requests for this great new guidebook and we can’t wait to print it for you. Pre-orders will be available soon.
There are already online paddle guides for twenty-nine stunning South Australian paddling destinations. All of these will be in the book but there are six more that we want to include so we are making our way back to SA for one last research trip.
South Australia is a long way from Global Paddler HQ so we will also be visiting four fantastic destinations in New South Wales and Victoria along the way. The paddling starts on Saturday the 4th of March and the itinerary looks a lot like this.
Mar 4 – Lake Cargelligo, Central West Slopes & Plains, NSW
Mar 5 – Murray River & Gurra Gurra Creek, Riverland, SA
Mar 6 – Murray River & Banrock Creek, Riverland, SA
Mar 7 – Murray River, Punyelroo, Murraylands, SA

Paddling company is always welcome but it is important that you have appropriate equipment and note that the above schedule is subject to change. If you would like to join us on one or more days, please get in touch via the contact us page of this website page so we can arrange a meeting place and time. For those that want to take part vicariously, we will be reporting our progress on the Global Paddler Facebook page on a regular basis.
If you have local knowledge or hints and tips about any of the above places that you feel would be of benefit to other paddlers then we would love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop us a line.
