The Paddler’s Guide to New South Wales by Scott Rawstorne will be officially launched at Jack Julius Park in Kingscliff on Sunday the 10th of February at 9am.
The book contains detailed descriptions, photos and maps for 101 of the best paddling destinations in New South Wales, and also explains the equipment and preparation required for every day on the water.
Signed copies of The Paddler’s Guide to New South Wales will be available for purchase on the day with proceeds going to WetlandCare Australia.
WetlandCare is the leading national not-for-profit wetland conservation organisation and currently has a number of interesting opportunities available for volunteer work in New South Wales. Volunteers can participate in
exciting projects that will help the environment and improve the health of important habitat areas for threatened species of plants and animals.
The book launch will be followed by a paddle up Cudgen Creek with the author and the Northern Rivers Paddlers group. All are welcome to join them on the water but anyone wishing to take part should let Global Paddler know in advance via email. If you don’t have the Global Paddler email address, please feel free to RSVP using the details on the Contact page of this website.
